Netanya, Israel – June 14, 2007: Unipier, pioneer of Intelligent Policy Management, announced today that it was selected by Red Herring magazine as the most promising Telecommunication start-up in Israel for 2007.
This year’s competition was focused on companies with the best chances to become leaders in their market and with the most significant growth potential. According to the Israel Venture Capital Association (IVA) co-chairman, Eli Barket, the start-ups were chosen for their vision, technological achievements and market leadership.
The contest, co-hosted by Red Herring magazine and the IVA, recognizes the most promising Israeli start-up companies. Independent judges have been evaluating the various entrants based on each organization’s vision, technological achievements and market leadership. Winners have been announced at the IVA’s annual meeting in Tel Aviv. Unipier was one of 9 competition finalists and pushed past two other companies in the Telecommunication category to win first prize.
Alex Vieux, Red Herring magazine publisher, said: "Israeli companies prove once again that they are certainly capable of competing in the global market.
