Carmel and Vertex co-lead $6.65 Million A Round

Petach Tikva, Israel - September 19, 2007: Nexperience, an Israeli company developing a testing and management solution that automates mobile handset end-user activities and validates the user experience on actual handsets, announced today that it has raised $2.9 million from Vertex Venture Capital.  The funds will be used to accelerate the Nexperience market activity and to address the very important mobile media and application segment. Carmel Ventures invested $3.75 million in Nexperience, following a successful Pre Seed program.

The Nexperience platform dramatically reduces the time and complexity involved in the roll out and adoption of mobile services. The Nexperience system allows mobile operators, handset vendors, application developers and content providers to validate the user experience of their devices and services through a sophisticated automation and remote access system operating on actual handsets in their target network. The unique ScriptOnce technology (patent pending) developed by Nexperience, enables the creation of high level test procedures which can be executed on any handset without any adaptation. Utilizing the Nexperience system, operators can realize a sizeable reduction in time to market when launching new handsets and services, significantly streamlining these processes. The mobile operators’ eco-system (content providers, application developers, handset vendors) can in turn enjoy increased efficiency of its quality assurance, porting and monitoring processes utilizing the automation and remote access capabilities of the system. Nexperience provides the mobile operator with a user-centric testing and monitoring solution and acts as a testing and monitoring clearing house for the operators’ eco-system.

Eran Yaniv, CEO of Nexperience says, “We are very happy with the addition of Vertex as an investor in our Company and are pleased to be able to tap into their proven expertise in the mobile space and strong international LP base. Vertex provides not only financial support, but also enhances our executive team. Ehud Levy, who brings specific domain knowledge from his previous ventures, will be joining our board of directors.”

Ehud Levy, Managing Partner at Vertex Venture Capital says, ““Nexperience’s potential is huge as it solves one of the most significant problems of mobile content today. The market is growing very rapidly as more and more global media players are delivering their content and services to the “third screen”, that is, mobile handsets. The Nexperience solution allows these players to accelerate their penetration pace and to reach more subscribers with more services in more territories. We strongly believe that the experienced management team with its proven track record will lead the company to become a top-tier player in the industry.”
