Carmel Ventures Asia
In the beginning of 2010 we launched Carmel Ventures Asia, a business development office based in Hong Kong, China, primarily to support and promote business development activities of our portfolio companies in the Asia Pacific region. Our dedicated team is led by Craig Ehrlich, the former chairman of the GSM Association and a board member of Hutchison Telecoms Group and Bharti Airtel.
As the importance of the Asian markets is increasing, we believe that Carmel's local presence in APAC and China is a clear advantage that adds a unique and significant value to our portfolio companies including access to leading players and investors in this area.
